The
outlay for the 1987-88 Annual Plan has been fixed at Rs. 44,699 crores. This
comprises Rs. 25,042 crores for the centre and the rest for the States Sector.
The Revised Estimates of the Plan outlay for 1986-87 consist of Rs. 23,625
crores for the Centre and Rs. 16,636 crores for the States. As compared to the
